Award Recipients

AWARD TITLE · LISMA Achievement Award 

AWARD · $150 gift certificate, plaque, and guest at the annual LISMA dinner 

DESCRIPTION & CRITERIA 
This award recognizes a LISMA member who contributes significantly to the school library media Profession in one of these three areas of achievement: 

  • LISMA organizational work (leadership positions, committee work) 
  • Independent activities (publishing, writing, speaking, workshops) 
  • School district contributions (leadership roles, committee work, notable programs for students, teachers, administrators, or PTA) 


(Applicant must provide supporting documentation with application. Please do not send originals - materials cannot be returned.) 

TIMELINE 
Applications Deadline April 15
PRESENTATION OF AWARD 
  • Award will be presented at the LISMA annual dinner meeting. 
  • Winner must be present at the award presentation meeting.
