FLORAL PARK READS: NOVEMBER 12TH 2008 @ 7:00PM

On November 12th students of Floral Park were treated to a visit by vampire author Claudia Gray of the Evernight series. She discussed why she became a writer and the writing and publishing process. She shared her own personal experiences of seeing her work published as well as what it was like touring around the country promoting her book. After speaking, Claudia took time to answering questions from the audience of over 80 students and parents. Based of the evening attendance around 60 copies of Evernight were given out and then personally signed by Claudia Gray. It was a motivating and inspiring evening that will be remembered for some time.
